Looking for a way to meet people, find new cool places or get involved? Come to a committee meeting. Like everything else about ‘BASS committee meetings are fun, informal, and won’t take a ton of your time. So don’t let the word “meeting” give you a bad taste. Our meetings are really fun, we promise!
Service Committee
‘BASS Service provides regular opportunities for members to contribute to the community through hands-on service projects. Service meets the first Thursday of every month at a different location around the ‘Bend Area. Check the calendar on the home page for times and locations.
Social/Sports Committee
Social/Sports is responsible for planning fun events that give members a chance to get to know each other in a friendly, safe atmosphere. From tubing at St. Pat’s Park to our monthly Happy Hours to our summer volleyball games, Social/Sports gives members a chance to get out of their houses and have some fun! They meet monthly. Marketing/Membership Committee
‘BASS Marketing/Membership makes the community aware of all the great opportunities that ‘BASS can offer. In addition, they work to enhance member benefits and retain existing members by offering robust discounts from local businesses. Marketing sponsors several events throughout the year like our quarterly New Member Socials and Monthly 7 @ 7 Dinners. Check the calendar on the home page for times and locations.
Knotty Knitters Club
- The Knotty Knitters are a group of ‘BASS Club members who organize knitting circles throughout the year to craft items to be donated to those in need. Come join us! It does not matter if you can knit (crochet) or not, we'll be glad to teach you. What better way to learn a new hobby and get to know new people then to sit, knit, and chat?

We need people like you
‘BASS is an all volunteer organization, so we can’t do the things we do without talented and vibrant people like you. Volunteer a few hours a month by coming to a Committee meeting and helping plan events that all ‘BASS members can enjoy!
